In the case of a lost queen we can peacefully merge the colonies by eliminating the internal dividers. Separate entrances and dual top feeders for each colony.

The small compartment under the hinged lid is for feeding protein supplements or bee feed patties. The other compartment is for feeding sugar syrup and will hold 1.1 litres. The “”no drown”” design takes the stress out of feeding syrup and maximises production. Because they are incorporated in the roof, they allow for max space in the brood nest for brood rearing.
